Happy Summer Solstice
Guided visualisation to celebrate this day.
Greetings Sunny Optimists,
Over the past year, I have recorded the monthly guided visualisations for The Sunny Optimist from the book Meditations Through the Year by Dorothea Breitzer-Kings. The June meditation is called Summer Solstice, Festival of Light. There is something so extraordinary about the light at this time of year, and Dorothea delightfully captures the essence of a June summer’s day for us.
I enjoyed making these recordings for you as it connects me more deeply to the time of the year. My thanks to my friend and coach Tim Uffindell for the exquisite piano playing on the recording.

The longest day of the year. It’s a time to really pause. If panic seems overwhelming the days and hours will still carry on. Whatever decisions must be made it’s worth it to hear the song. Of all that’s lovely all that’s beautiful. Before the moment is gone.
