Thankyou for that clip. It made me smile. Yes Ann. Humour is so needed today. So difficult to create a written or musical work etc which is humour. But I know humour survives the darkest hours of problems in the world. It might be the hardest thing to create and yet when it is found it brings joy to everyone. I think that must’ve it’s magic. It comes spontaneously or not at all. I think when I’m working on a piece of prose Wfich is intended to be humorous tge punchlinr never comes and yet when I am not trying the final chuckle seems to appear. It’s the most wonderful and natural form of optimism when humour pops round. Right now it might be with my keys debit card etc Cant find any of them most of the time but humour is running back to me. No I’m not a great comedian but when humour does appear at last I can’t resist thanking him and bursting into smiles and chuckles. Humour is like that. I’m a poor jokesmith myself but absolutely love good comedy that inspires me

Humorous prose and poetry is elusive. It’s a tough but to crack. But that’s all the more reason why the greatest comics are to be admired. Ill keep persisting trying to write a humorous story but I’ve come to terms with being a bit of a serious old so n so.

Wishing you a lovely week Ann. And a humorous piece of music I recommend is Sir Malcolm Arnold conducting his own Grand Grand overture for orchestra floor polisher and three vacuum cleaners. All tuned to different keys. Amazing stuff ! 😀

Ann—My parents adored Mr. Hulot’s Holiday. It was a total favorite. It’s so delightful to remember with fondness family times, family humor. Sending you so much love and appreciation,

Loved the thoughts about humor and especially the film clip. Rubi and I generally laugh ourselves through the day because, after all, what is the alternative? Both of our families of origin were light-hearted. Jokes, friendly teasing, and humor abounded. As we enter our senior-hood, many of our chuckles revolve around the challenges of ageing. For example, hearing loss. What I said. What she says she heard. What I heard she heard and so on. After all, we are "Light Beings". Love to you, OF and Rubi
