I love how you related the personas to the Earth Wisdom medicine wheel! I have been reconnecting with them again recently promted by a new Ecological Organisations Framework which also has eight directions.
We have also used the archetypes, King, Warrior, Lover & Magician taken from Jung's work, extensively in our work with our man's group, Spirit of Man.
Thank you, Ann. I love how you're reaching out into different traditions and offerings to enhance what you already know. I just finished a 3-day program with Alberto Villoldo, who spent much of his life studying with the Andean shamans of Peru. At the end of one of our meditation journeys, he asked, "What are you summoning?" And I responded, "Respect and Reverence for all life on Mother Earth." At which point I knew exactly what energy was calling and I reframed my answer as a Being Statement: "I embody respect and reverence for life." So simple. Not a to-do list or a wheel, but somehow all-encompassing. Now all I have to do is show up. So glad to be taking this journey with you!!!
This is beautiful, Ann. Thank you for sharing your thoughts and the Medicine Wheel! I continue to hold my Gift Seeds from Healing Between Worlds as my core capacities and calling. I did align them with the eight personalities and they fit beautifully. It is a wonderful way to keep them organized and connected with a particular energy. I am still not sure exactly what energy this year is calling from me. These first couple of months have been very fast, full, and a little different that last year. I'm listening hard for what is needed. So grateful to have you walking with me, as always.
