While I have strayed from the church, hymns will always feel like some kind of spiritual home for me. These arrangements bring that sweet longing back into the music. While I no longer participate in organized Christian church, there are hymns that take me to a place within where sweet memories reside. “It’s a gift to be simple” is one. Spirituality has always been part of my life appearing in many forms and some invisible to the human eye and mind. Music floats over boundaries.
